Short-term
Academic:
1. Complete a successful presentation of my final honors through a virtual media by May 2020.
2. Finish the Spring 2020 semester with grades of 95% or above for each of my classes.
3. Graduate from SPCC with a perfect 4.0-grade point average and from UCEC with a 4.8-weighted grade point average.
Professional:
1. Update my résumé in preparation for a college job search by August 2020.
2. Apply for the position as pool manager and maintain order at the Brandon Oaks Clubhouse pool for the 2020 summer season.
3. Once a college decision has been made, explore university-specific work-study programs for the 2020-2021 school year.
Personal:
1. Begin a fitness routine consisting of 20-minute sessions 3 days per week by May 2020.
2. Cut out late-night eating after 9:30 pm by May 2020.
3. Plan assignments and other commitments in my calendar a minimum of one week in advance for the Spring 2020 semester.
Long-term
Academic:
1. Complete an undergraduate research project by 2022.
2. Earn an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from a 4-year university by the Spring of 2022.
3. Earn a graduate degree in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited program within 4 years of completing my undergraduate degree.
Professional:
1. Apply for a part-time position to earn money and keep up with college expenses by Fall 2020.
2. Work as a chemical engineer or related position earning an entry-level wage within 1 year of graduating from a 4-year institution.
3. Stay with the same employer, given stable and healthy conditions, for at least four years after 2022.
Personal:
1. Open an investment portfolio in July 2020 to begin saving for retirement.
2. Increase my fitness regimen to 5 days per week of 30-minute exercise and at least 1 day of yoga by 2021.
3. Become fluent in Spanish and demonstrate the ability to hold an advanced conversation by 2024.
